Yesterday we heard that the sales ban of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 would continue in Australia, Apple and Samsung are involved in a number of other court cases around the world, one of those is in the US.
Now in the recent court hearing between Apple and Samsung, US District Judge, Lucky Koh, has said that Samsung’s tablets do infringe on Apple’s patents in the US, but she also said that Apple may have a problem establishing the validity of the patents, according to Reuters.
So Basically Apple need to demonstrate to the court that Samsung infringed on its patents and that the patents are valid, before the court will grant an injunction against the Galaxy Tab 10.1 and other Galaxy devices in the US.
The case is still going on, and the outcome could cause serious problems for Samsung and Google’s Android OS if the court decides in Apple’s favor, as some of the patent issues are also related to Google’s Android OS.
