Canon has officially announced its latest DSLR, the Canon EOS 1-D X, which features a full frame 18 megapixel CMOS sensor and it also comes with a new DIGIC 5+ image processor and an ISO range of 51,200 which can expand to 204,800.
The Canon EOS 1D X features a burst mode of 14 frames per second in JPEG or 12 frames per second in RAW, there is also a built in Gigabit Ethernet connection, there is also a 3.2 inch 1,040,000 dot LCD display.
The EOS-1D X represents the re-invention of the EOS-1Ds and EOS-1D series, combining new proprietary Canon technologies with the culmination of customer feedback and requests from the field. The Canon EOS 1D X will retail for $6,800 when it goes on sale later this year.
