A new project named ODDIO1 that consists of cord-free Apple Shuffle headphones, has started its journey on Kickstarter this week. The ODDIO1 has been designed to enable you attach your Apple Shuffle directly to a pair of headphones. Removing the need for you to carry your shuffle in your pocket or on your arm and also removing the possibility of the connecting cable snagging on things. Watch the promotional video after the jump for more details.
ODDIO1 designers explain:
“Like most of you, we like to stay active. We like to run, snowboard, go to the gym, all while listening to our favorite music. We started using our iPhones more and more for music but were hesitant to take them places where they could get lost or damaged, like the mountain or the beach.
This drew us back to the iPod Shuffle. It’s a perfect musical sidekick to the iPhone. Its minimal nature is great for exercise but we felt constrained adding headphones to something the size of a postage stamp.”
The new solution has been designed and created by Jeremy Saxton & Jacob Hall, two designers from Salt Lake City. Who are now looking for funding to get their project from concept to production. So if you think the ODDIO1 Cord-Free Shuffle Headphones could benefit you, don’t forget to make a pledge over on the Kickstarter website.
