If you are in the market for a pair of noise cancelling headphones, it might be worth your while investigating the new AKG K 495 NC which have just been unveiled by AKG. The new AKG K 495 NC Noise Cancelling headphones will be arriving in stores laters this month for $350.
If the AKG K 495 NC are a little out of your budget, AKG has also unveiled a slightly cheaper, and smaller pair for $250 in the form of their new AKG K 490 NC headphones, pictured below. Unlike other noise cancelling headphones even if your batteries drain, you can still listen to audio through them.
AKG says the K 490 NCs “feature exceptional audio balance at an attractive price.”, and have been designed for longer listening periods. Both headphones come complete with carrying case, flight adapter and USB charging cable, but they appear not to be equipped with inline microphone or controls for smartphone use.
