According to a recent report by Kara Swisher from All Things D, Apple has a media event planned this month which will apparently be held in New York, and the event is reportedly related to “a media-related announcement”.
If the report is correct then we wont see Apple announced their iPad 3 or their Siri powered HDTV, so instead it could be something related to publishing or advertising or possibly software.
Of course the event has yet to be confirmed by Apple and there is no rumored date as yet, so I guess we will have to wait until Apple sends out the invites to find out when it is.
