For some reason this reminded the writer of the Queen album ‘Sheer Heart Attack’ from way back when. Though the gist of this post is humorous, Bacon Soda is no spoof—it’s as real as cardiac arrest. Promoted as ‘a mad marriage between soda and bacon,’ Bacon Soda is currently available in an affordable six pack for $24.95 but can be discounted to $19.95.
Not sure if the taste of soda and bacon is appetizing, but for those seeking novelty Bacon Soda may sound like a good idea. Hopefully the liquid inside the bottle isn’t clogged with giant clumps of greasy salt-sweet bacon fat. Is this making your mouth drool? Sorry.
The weird part is it’s on sale at an online retailer specializing in bacon products.
Oh yeah, one last thing: despite what the promo pic might suggest, it’s not a smart idea to put a couple of bottles on a frying pan next to them eggs. Mmmmm…eggs.
