China-based telecom equipment vendors poised to launch enterprise tablet PCs, says IBM TaiwanMiranda Chuang, Taipei; Adam Hwang, DIGITIMES [Friday 6 July 2012]While international vendors are preparing to launch Windows 8 consumer tablet PCs later in the second half of 2012, China-based vendors of telecom equipment are poised to launch enterprise models specifically for business use, in 2013-2014, according to IBM Taiwan.As competition in the global consumer tablet market is unlikely to change in the short term, IBM Taiwan recommends Taiwan-based vendors step into the enterprise segment with China as the target market.
