Qisda reports year-high revenue for JuneJulian Ho, Taipei; Alex Wolfgram, DIGITIMES [Friday 6 July 2012]EMS provider Qisda has reported June consolidated revenues of NT$7.24 billion (US$242 million), up 4% on-month but down 3.99% on-year. Accumulated revenues during the second quarter were NT$20.63 billion.The reported June revenues were the company's highest so far for the year. Qisda said the increase is due to returning demand in the LCD TV industry along with growing demand for portable devices such as smartphones and tablet PCs.Qisda has also been receiving orders from new customers and has been improving costs and efficiency. Qisda said its new high-efficiency LED backlighting models, displays and projectors have attracted new customers and that it expects to be bring in even more customers in the future with more added-value products.
